Rollercoaster of a day
Today I decided to try these nutritional supplements/workout enhancements that Paul left me. It was truly no bueno.
I went from having a monster of a headache and feeling dizzy and nauseous to then feeling great, running with the Bowie dog, strategizing in my head ways I can take charge of my work life and get the promotion I have been striving for
...towards tired and hungry, and last but not wonderfully least, crying on the sofa while eating raspberry sorbet out of the carton.
This has been and unbelievable and at times very bad, but very good day.

Orange you glad its a New Week
Last week was one long week and I have been so ready to get it over with it! With all the Black Friday and Saturday prepping and stressing, my levels of exhaustion have increased. I ended the week on a good note with Pauls' Toga Birthday, which was a blast, but the fun had a cost of no sleep and today a migraine has been keeping the much wanted relaxation away. I am currently sitting in a dark room, with my sunglasses on a head pad on my neck. I am giving myself until 8pm and then I will be taking an Excerdin PM.

So where as I don't think it is always great to eat that many, it will give my immune system a nice boost.

Really makes me want to make this costume. I am going to have to hit up my friend Jackie who actually really wants to make this wig. I was thinking I could buy 1 red wig and then about 100 different wefts haha and we can have a wine night and sew them all in :)
I just love all that motion it has and the differing textures.
My love of Cuties clementine oranges hit an all time high these past couple of days. Perhaps they cause migraines. I have actually eaten 12 in the past 24 hours haha! So lots of Vitamin C :)
I did start wonder though how healthy these little delicious balls of yumminess are... well...
One clementine contains 34 calories. They are quite low in fat as well, with 0.1 g of fat per fruit.
Clementines of course dont' have a tremendous amount of protein -- each fruit contains 0.6 g. They do have more carbohydrates with 8.9 g of carbs per clementine. This amount comprises 6.8 percent of the 130 g of carbs you need each day for energy. A clementine also has 1.3 g of fiber.
And as for Vitamin C... each fruit provides you with 60 percent of the daily value for this vitamin. You will also get smaller amounts of thiamin, vitamin B6, niacin, riboflavin and pantothenic acid in a clementine.
I was also excited to learn that clementines deliver 4 percent of the daily value for potassium. Along with the electrolyte boost you get from the potassium, you'll also get 2 percent of the daily value for calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and copper, as well as a very small amount of iron. The nutrients in clementines make this fruit good for bone health, iron metabolism and energy storage.
So where as I don't think it is always great to eat that many, it will give my immune system a nice boost.
Well, speaking of all this deliciousness is making me hungry, so I think I will be going to eat some food with my Excederin.

1 Room Down
Here are pics. I super cleaned, Ppayed good music, and thought happy thoughts while getting the room done. The blue in the picture came out light, it is a bit darker like the paint card. I love the color names - Autumn Moon and Sensual Jade. It is very warm now and I have some of my favorite things on the book shelves. All I lack to wrap the room up is a couple of shelves for my Harry Potter books, the muslin canopy for the corner (somewhere packed away) and I want to make my own paint easel for by the window:)
Next room that I will begin this week is the office(Paul's room). Luckily it is already painted, I just have to do touch ups in a few spots and clean out the closet which holds all ofour games and fun stuff, and reorganize the file cabinet. Now that we have our Group Project Hero is official and recognized by the State of Arizona, we need to be organized with our receipt keeping (I don't think an envelopewill cut it), so I am getting that organized. I also still have a few more comics to organize. I have already used up all my label tape though, so must get a refill!

Fall
I can not wait for fall. I miss pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin cream cheese on my cinnamon bagels. I did already find pumpkin coffee via Dunkin' Donuts and Sam Adams Octoberfest, so those are holding me off, for now.
I am Fall Cleaning, a room or two a week. I start with my spare bedroom, which is my inspiration room, it needs work, not too inspiring right now haha. Any ideas, let me know.

I am working on 4 costumes. Three of which I hope to have complete by the last weekend in May.
Crazy, yeah, I know. Not to worry, though, I do have some of them already in the works, so they just need parts. The first, top left, is X-23. This costume is for the X Force group I will be joining. We already have a Wolverine, Domino, and Deadpool. My husband is trying to complete "Death" Angel by them, but if not he has Fantomex as a back up. I really, have none of this complete. Sewing the pants and top myself, making the mask out of foam with red lenses, and working on the belt. I do have the boots (maybe), the claws, and the wig (maybe). So yeah, lots to do.
The second costume, upper right, is Delerium, from the Sandman Comic. She will be joining my friends, Jackie and Garrick's, Death and Dream. I also have to sew Paul's Destiny cloak. For her I pretty much have everything except a tutu and I am working on the wig.
Third is Victoria Hand, lower left. Not well known, she is my pairing for Paul's Iron Patriot. The "Pepper Potts" of Norman Osborn. I have the suit, so all I need is the gun and wig which should be easy, just sewing in a redish pink streak. So, 75% done.
And last, but not least, and on the back burner for now, is Storm Shadow. I am doing a female version. I wanted it for PCC, but highly unlikely.
So this is what I am doing, on everyday off and at night when I get home. I feel like I am eating, sleeping, breathing costuming. I will definately need a vacation in July^^ So, if I don't seem "around" you know what I am doing haha
